Our company has been at the forefront of bed manufacturing and innovation since it was founded by the current owners’ forbearers more than 70 years agoand is widely regarded as the world’s most innovative bedding manufacturer. From our beginnings making kapok mattresses in a small factory shed, the business has actively grown through organic growth and strategic acquisition.

At Wonderest we use only locally sourced components in the products we manufacture, which proudly carry the 100% Australian-Made credential.Our bedding products are constructed using Australian-made steel springs and mattress fabric and are designed and built to the highest quality standards unsurpassed anywhere in the world.
In Australia, Wonderest has a specially designed and purpose-built 9,000 square metre factory complex in Brisbane and 4,500 square metre complexes in Melbourne and Perth. This enables our commitment to using the latest technology to continually improve manufacturing methods; which in turn provides customers with superior products.
All sites feature computerised automated production lines. The Wonderest Brisbane factory features a world-first fully computerised Eton automated fabric-handling system, exclusively developed for use in the mattress industry by our engineers. This machinery dramatically increases efficiencies throughout the factory and ensures we can better serve our customers.
